Dubai Culture is organising a poetry evening in celebration of World Poetry Day as part of its Library Talks initiative, which falls under the umbrella of the School of Life project. This initiative aims to build bridges between creatives and the public.
The event will take place at Al Safa Art & Design Library on 14 March and will feature a distinguished group of Emirati and UAE-based poets, including Ahmed Al Asem, Amal Al Sahlawi, Najat Al Dhaheri, Musab Biroutieh, and Dareen Shubair. The evening, moderated by Amal Al Harithi, will see the poets reciting selections from their work while also introducing their latest publications and poetry collections.
