Dubai Culture Celebrates Reading Month with Cultural Activities

Dubai Culture is marking ‘Reading Month 2025’ under the theme ‘UAE Reads’ with a series of reading sessions and cultural activities at Dubai Public Libraries. These initiatives support the National Literacy Strategy 2026, promoting literature, arts, and a culture of reading in the community.
Dubai Public Libraries will host renowned writers, including Obeid Ibrahim Bu Melha and writer and journalist Ayesha Sultan, alongside interactive workshops encouraging young readers.
In collaboration with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC, Dubai Culture will also organise a ‘Used Book Sale’ to support a book donation campaign for Zayed Humanitarian Day. Visitors can purchase books at symbolic prices, promoting book recycling and knowledge-sharing.
