Dubai Culture is bringing together makers, talents and entrepreneurs for ‘Makers Days 2026,’ a two-day programme designed to strengthen Dubai’s creative manufacturing ecosystem and create new opportunities for knowledge exchange, skills development and professional connections. Taking place on 19 and 20 September at Concrete, Alserkal Avenue, the event will help participants expand their expertise and technical skills, build strong professional networks, explore local production opportunities, and tap into the potential of the cultural and creative industries ecosystem.
The programme will feature more than 13 workshops, talks and panel discussions, bringing together 13 speakers from across the cultural and creative industries to highlight the latest trends in creative manufacturing, explore the capabilities of the local manufacturing sector, and identify opportunities for collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers across the UAE.
The event will also feature a ‘Make it in the Emirates’ information desk and the launch of ‘Maker’s Connect,’ an initiative designed to build connections between talents, entrepreneurs and manufacturers through a series of specialised mentoring sessions.
A series of tours and site visits to local facilities within Al Quoz Creative Zone will also take place, including visits to a furniture manufacturer, a multi-purpose production facility, a printing press, and a design studio. Participants will gain first-hand insight into makers’ practices, projects, products, and innovations that advance Dubai’s creative manufacturing sector, while highlighting the importance of Al Quoz Creative Zone and the diverse businesses and projects it hosts in strengthening the cultural and creative industries.
